Pearl White Fixie

Lastest project, fixed gear bike, Poliquin frame and a pearl white paint with ceramic clear coat. All the parts are reused from other bikes or bought already used from the bike shop near my place (except the handle bar tape).

Birthday Present

Time for a little update. It was my brother's birthday last week, I offered him one of my custom bikes. Here is a couple of pictures. A nice flat black paint and a little touch of color with the rim painted green.

Playstation CD Player

This will be my next (well...one of  my next) project. A custom cd player made with a playstation in a new enclosure. It will be made to match the style of my Marantz amp;  Aluminum chassis with bamboo sidings. Here is my first sketch :

iPhone won't charge

Last week my phone refused to be recharged. It was my daughter's drool humidity in the connecting dock that was the problem. So, I ordered the part for 15 $ shipping included and.....fixed it myself. Here are some shots of the process.

Fixed Gear Painting

This is a video of me painting a bike frame. You can see all the layers being applied. First the primer, then the color, and finally the ceramic clear coat. This video was taken this summer but I tought it would be a nice post.

Marantz Amp

I had this old Marantz receiver and it was working only on 1 channel, plus the radio did not work. I decided to take it appart and build a smaller case just for the amp, no more radio, equalizer, phono etc....I don't have any photos of the build for this project but here is what it looks like. It's made of 1/4'' aluminum panels and bamboo side panels. (Oh and I had the second channel fixed by an audio shop)

It's winter

Bike season is over in Quebec city. That doesn't mean I can't work on bikes (among other things). I'll try to post pictures of my different projects I'm working on. That may include a couple of bikes, speakers, amp and other audio devices, car etc. Feel free to comment on my projects.
